There are many reasons why someone trying to make it with affiliate marketing might fail. How many have made a go at it but never made any headway is beyond any of us since no records are kept on this. But you can be sure that it is only a very small percent that succeed.
What could some of the reasons be that would make people fail in this business? One could be just lack of trying, you heard that internet business is easy, just build your site and they will come. Not thinking that you have to work hard to get traffic to your site, so they just give up.
Another reason is not being able to build a site that is appealing enough to hold visitors attention long enough to look around. They are not getting any sales and are getting frustrated with their efforts and eventually give up.
How about all the products that you find in your email that is the next big thing or claims to get lots of traffic from Google or make you X number of dollars a week. Now, some of these are good products and some could be rip offs. Someone new may just get tired of trying all of these things and give up
This leads us to a big one, information overload. When you are new at affiliate marketing and trying to figure out how to find the best keywords, build your landing pages, choose good content, get on Google and on and on it can be overwhelming. You need to stick with it and get past the learning curve at the beginning till you start to feel more comfortable, then focus on what you need to do and succeed.
