Boston Legal seasons 1-5 DVD Boxset

I have started the beginning of this article for a long time, but I have not gone on writing. I’m afraid that I cannot write it well, that I cannot fully express my opinions on this series clearly, to make a highly perceptivate understanding of this series. And I even like to watch Boston Leagal Seasons 1-5 once again in order to understand its thoughts better. However, time and energy do not permit and I can only go on writing this article as I’m free tody.

I have finished lots of American TV series and quite some of them are excellent words. However, there’s no one like Boston Leagal which has largely influenced me, indeed I’ll will go further, it subtly change me a lot.

Boston Legal followed the personal and professional exploits of a group of attorneys working at the law firm of Crane, Poole & Schmidt.

The main characters in Boston Leagal Sesons 1-5 are a pair of sucessful lawyers, Alan Shore and Denny Crane.

Alan is in his forties, a man of alternative style. He acts peculiarly. He is subject to strange deseases like aphasia and sleepwalking. However, Alan’s talents are quite extraordinary. Her’s good at long closing and he is able to find the dark sides in the inner world of a man. He holds a certain fascination for women. Alan is also a typical liberalist. Denny is in her seventies. She is unbeaten and has fully won in more than 6,000 lawsuits. Denny is a legend in law-politic field. She is assailed with light dementia, struggling between outstanding and mania. She loves guns. She is an absolut conservative, diametrically opposed to Alan. However, these two persons become intimate friends.

Boston Legal is rich in connotations. Through one and another judicial cases, Boston Legal involves problems about American culture, society, law, religion and human nature. After finishing Boston Leagal Sesons 1-5, I found that career, friend and freedom become more and more important for me.

Here I cannot cover all the contents but to talk about the several aspects that have impressed me most in briefly (I will tald about these aspects in details in the following articles):

Directv receives F rating from the BBB

What an BBB F rating means.
Company Rating F
We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.

Ratings start at A+ and goes all the way down to F, which is not good. So for a Fortune 500 company to let their compliance slip down to a low rating with the BBB must mean there is a lot of problems behind the scene.

Current complaints that have brought down Directv’s rating over the last year.

“ DIRECTV is a joke of a company. I have had nothing but problems with reception. I have had to have service out to our home 6 times in less then a year, each time it is 4-6 days before some can get here. I am told they don’t have many service people in my area, I live in a city with a million people, how hard can it be to get more service people. Each time a service person has come to my house, the current service complains about what the previous service person has done, each one seems to have there own ideas of what is right and what is wrong, NONE of them seem to very well trained, at least not on the same page. I am one year into our 2 year contract and of course they won’t let me out and customer service seems to only be able to read off their scripts. This freak’n company has OVER 36,000 complaints in the last 36 months, the Attorney General has MULTIPLE law suits against this company. HOW is the piece of do do company still in business. They DO NOT stand behind there product, they do not have enough support, I was on the phone last night for over an hour, unplugging and plugging, turn it off, turn it on, nothing worked, we will get someone out there in 5 days sir, are you flipping kidding me. DIRECTV is a horrible inept company that should be shut down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! “

” DirecTV are a bunch of liars and crooks. On Christmas Eve, 12/24/2009 they took $920.00 out of my account without my authorization. I tried to dispute this with my bank, to no avail. I asked a supervisor(supposedly) to send me a copy of the contract I signed and she refused. She kept telling me that its on the back of the bill. With 6 kids and me the only one working, that was my Bills money and christmas money. If there IS a class action suit, let me know. “

” I have had Direct Tv for several years without any problem.In may I was going to switch to Dish Network due to a special discount sign up program.I called Direct first and was first told they did not have any special deals for exieting customers they were interested in new customers.I called again severl weeks later and was told they do have a special discount for existing customers.It was about the same savings so I stayed with Direct.Well after about ten calls to an extremely inept customer service I had to file a complanit with the BBB.Low and behold I got a call from Direct and was infromed that the next bill will show the discount.I am waiting to see that though.It is amazing that a company that claims they are number one in customer satisfaction is sooooo bad.They must be comparing themselves to the IRS in customer satisfaction.The clout that the BBB has with companies is unmeasurable.The only positive thing I can say is everyone I talked to in customer service was pleasent but inept.Thank you BBB “

Directv is currently the leading provider of satellite TV service in the nation. However Dish Network is quickly gaining ground due to the lower prices offered for the same service. Most customers are starting to realize that not only do they get the same programming, but also there are a lot of additional features with Dish Network, like the Duo receivers that can operate two TV’s and not receive the extra charge.

For a strong company like Directv to drop down in ratings so fast which could be from minor complaints to major ones. Once most of their customers are gone I think they will finally realize that living up to what you promise your customers is priceless.
